What to expect in a  treatment

The client usually lies fully clothed on a treatment couch. The therapist will make contact by placing their hands lightly on the patient’s body and tuning in to what is happening by ‘listening’ with their hands.

The first thing most people experience is a sense of deep relaxation, which will generally last throughout the session. This might be followed by sensations of light twists and pulls in the body as the restrictions in the cranio-sacral system are releasing. Some people also describe it as a floating feeling.
